Obitius Brixiensis (Obicius Brixiensis/Obicio da Brescia/Obizio da Brescia, fl. 16th cent.) OFMCap. Italian Capuchin friar, who after an initial career as a secular canon of San Giorgio in Alga [or as a regular canon of San Lorenzo Giustiniano, alias San Giorgio in Alga] joined the Capuchins at Brescia (in the Capuchin Brescia province). Known for his life of mortification. Seven years after his death in 1599 (?) his body was found intact.
