Vianocná omsa F dur = Weihnachtsmesse F-dur : Harmonia pastoralis Zilinsky kancionál (ca. 1770): a two volume manuscript. The first volume contains a Pastierska harmónia or Harmonia pastoralis , which amounts to a Slovak Christmas mass ( Vianocná omsa F-dur ) with additional songs, carols and a Latin antiphony. The second volume, entitled Pastierske spevy or Prosae pastorales contains 25 Slovak carols for Christmas and New Year. The first volume containing the Pastierska Harmónica has also been attributed to the Franciscan composer Georgius Zrunek (see that entry as well). The Christmas mass Vianocná omsa F-dur from the Pastierska harmónia is an impressive Baroque mass with Slovak folk music elements and a very original instrumentalisation and double chior setup. For a modern edition, see: Vianocná omsa F dur = Weihnachtsmesse F-dur : Harmonia pastoralis , ed. Maria Jana Terrayová (Bratislava, Opus, 1987).
