Damianus Mazanet (Damián Mazanet, fl. second half 17th cent.)
Damianus Mazanet (Damián Mazanet, fl. second half 17th cent.) OFM. Mexican friar. Missionary (a.o. in Coahuila around 1685), and one of the founding fathers of the Colegio de la Santa Cruz in Querétaro. He was part of the missionary expedition of Domingo Terán to Mexico in 1691/2 and (like Domingo Terán) left behind a diary of his experiences.
